What is in the water in Brooklyn?

I mean seriously. C’Mon. I just purchased Beirut’s new 2-EP album March of the Zapotec & Realpeople: Holland and once again I am mystified, happy, blissful and generally in awe of Zach Condon’s sublime musical genuis.
I’ve been a big Beirut fan ever since Nantes hit me in the head like a frying pan swung by a brawny burlesque dancer. And somewhere along the way, I missed out on reading that he lives in Brooklyn.
If you want to Beirut experience in most potent, first visit La Blogotheque and then see the entire Flying Club Cup Album recorded by their crew. If you’ve never been exposed to it, be careful, you could be immersed for hours, playing it over and over.
Do yourself a favor, load up on all the Beirut albums.

I am also a big fan of Beirut and I really love his music. I usually play it on my ipod while driving and its really makes me relax.
