Music from the Vault: Funnysphere
Posted on | September 2, 2008 |
My buddy Andre Costantini and I occasionally get together to make ridiculous music. We love doing it, and you are certainly not required to enjoy it ;) An email with another old friend reminded me of this story, so I want to share it with all of you.
At that moment in life, Dre unsuccessfully tried to renew his NY driver’s license. They required enormous ridiculous pieces of identification and after multiple trips, he was… angry. One point he made was that he had successfully gotten on an airplane twice without ID (not subtly made in the song).
Anyhoo, one of my favorite lyrics from this song graces the beginning of the chorus:
I’ve lived in two states / denial and horror
If you’d like to know more about Dre, I interviewed him for my podcast series over on the art site.
