I decided to not try and sneak in my Nikon, so these are cameraphone shots.. sorry.
But… the show last night was outstanding. Since I was so stressed about not seeing their 1st show ever, I guess it’s not bad that I saw their 4th show evar…
I still believe Daniel Rossen’s a musical genius. Hope to see him making music for decades.
Almost 1/3 of the set was new songs, and they were awesome. Also played was Sailing by Night (yeah!), and a little 40 Dollar Rug tease… Damn. I almost wanted to shout out to play it, but it was all drunken frat-boyish meatheads screaming for it. Idiots. It’s still a hilarious song.
Strange rendition of No One Does it Like You… good, but such an odd way to play it. I suppose it keeps people from singing along. I know I’ve sang along to it dozens of times when I listen to it.
Anyhoo, glad I went - it was a fantastic show. Thanks for a good show, guys!
